Two types of Emiter brand power sockets

Added: Monday, 7/19/2021

Widely used 230V AC power sockets are one of the most popular products from the EMITER offer. Recently, the range has been expanded with two new types of 230V AC 16A sockets in the 45x45 standard.

Emitter Sockets

The series of 230V AC sockets is available as a Polish 2P+Z socket and a red "DATA" socket. Includes a grounding pin and additional security in the form of a key to prevent accidental connection. Both newly introduced socket types can be installed in any equipment supporting the above standard.

Type 1: quick installation power sockets (screwless)

These sockets have a horizontal arrangement of holes, and their design allows for installation rotated by 90 degrees. The sockets have quick connectors, thanks to which it is possible to install cables by inserting the stripped ends into the connector openings.

EMITER offers two types of single sockets: a Polish two-pole socket with grounding 2P+Z, marked with the code name E/BGN, available in white, and a DATA socket with a security key, marked with the code E/BGNBZ, available in red. Both types of sockets have child protection in the form of plug covers. The white socket prevents an object from being inserted into only one of the holes, while the red socket requires the use of an additional security key supplied with the socket.

Type 2: modular power sockets

Modular sockets are sockets that can be connected into multiple blocks - e.g. three or four - thanks to the "pass-through" design. They have screw connectors, enabling the connection of cables with solid and stranded conductors. To facilitate plugging in the plugs in the case of multiple blocks, the sockets are equipped with holes deviated from the axis by 45 degrees.

EMITER's offer includes two models of single sockets: E/GM and E/GMBZ. The first one is a white bipolar 2P+Z socket, and the second one is a red DATA socket. Their protections include a protective contact in the form of a pin and a security key, respectively. Both types have plug covers. In the case of the white socket, they prevent the element from being inserted into only one hole, while the red socket requires the use of a key.

The package with power sockets includes E/ZM-GM assembly kits. They consist of a mounting rail and two plates that allow you to permanently connect the sockets together. The advantage of the sockets is the simplicity of installation and the possibility of using the sockets individually or in blocks.

The sockets available in the EMITER offer meet all legal requirements. They meet the standards PN - IEC 60884 -1 and PN IEC 60884-2-2, and are also marked with the "B" safety mark.
