The drainage leader presents what modern drainage of basement rooms looks like today.
Pumping stations are among the most important elements of the technical equipment of buildings. However, they are still built in concrete pump wells, despite the fact that there are clear disadvantages associated with this, such as the emission of unpleasant odors or the not-so-pleasing aesthetics of such solutions. Meanwhile, the future of modern drainage technology lies in integrated system solutions for installation in the floor slab. An example of this is the Aqualift S Compact pumping station, which KESSEL specialists present as a safe and hygienic alternative to the classic concrete pump sump. This product was focused on the specialized needs of customers. “To ensure reliable safety in a waterproof basement, we combined our pumping station with a special set for installation in waterproof concrete. In this way, we ensure tightness even in the event of seeping water and we offer in one package all the necessary construction elements as well as detailed instructions describing the installation process step by step," explains product manager Jan Martin. "In this way, the investor can easily install all connections and the built-in device hand over to the installer for further work.” A special incentive from KESSEL for customers is the opportunity to purchase the Aqualift S Compact pumping station in combination with a set for installation in waterproof concrete.
Aqualift S Compact pumping station - intelligent system solutions
In the case of the Aqualift S Compact pumping station , the control, installation pump , tank and discharge line are optimally combined. This integrated system solution disappears almost completely from view and is hidden in the floor slab using a cover to be filled with tiles or a black, odor-proof cover. The telescopic attachment allows flexible adjustment of the cover position to the pattern of the floor covering. Thanks to the use of plastic, which is largely resistant to household sewage and aggressive media such as acids or alkalis, corrosion problems no longer occur. An additional advantage is the ease of access to the device for cleaning or maintenance.
Aqualift S Compact pumping station - maintenance work can be carried out without the use of tools
KESSEL pays particular attention to easy installation and maintenance of devices. This system solution has connections for appropriate cables to facilitate simple installation. A special set for installation in waterproof concrete contains everything needed for quick and easy installation. These include: extension with flange, DN 32 discharge pipe, reducing fitting, wall flanges, casing, sealing insert and detailed instructions. In addition, the pumping station has so-called one-handed quick connectors that facilitate pump installation and an integrated anti-flood valve. All maintenance work can be performed without tools. The optional and intuitive Comfort control device with SDS self-diagnosis system (Tronic version) with pressure control additionally ensures optimal pump operation.
