Purmo Cleverfit pipes combine the advantages of plastic and metal pipes, and the inner and outer layers are made of PE-RT type II. The aluminum insert acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen from penetrating the pipe walls, which effectively protects metal installation elements against corrosion. The pipes are flexible and retain their shape. Also, pressed brass fittings of the Cleverfit system are available in a very wide range of diameters (16 - 63 mm), which allows for the installation of larger facilities.
Their very important advantage is the Leak Before Press function - it consists in the fact that when the pipe is not pressed to the connector, a controlled leak occurs at a pressure of 1 bar. This protects the contractor from possible errors and costly consequences.
