On roofs we install external air conditioning units, heat pumps, ventilation units, comfort and smoke extraction fans, dry coolers, chilled water units, or power generators, as well as ventilation ducts and pipe installations - freon, gas, heating and cooling, as well as cable routes. A wide range of Walraven products is used in substructures for the above-mentioned devices and installations.

Walraven's most frequently chosen insulation products and systems
Walraven Yeti® roof feet are a product made of ecological composite WPC material. The feet have certified vibration-insulating properties and UV resistance. They allow for non-invasive, non-puncturing membrane, mounting of heavy devices on roofs.
The Walraven RapidStrut® rail and mounting system includes mounting rails in sizes from 41x21x2.0 to 41x82x2.5 with dedicated elements suitable for mounting the structure. The elements have national certification and testing in accordance with the highest standards.
The Walraven Maxx heavy rail and mounting system includes mounting rails in sizes from 80x80x3 up to 100x150x4, with the appropriate elements for mounting heavy system structures.
The Walraven VibraTek® vibration isolation system consists of spring and elastomer vibration isolators that guarantee up to 99% damping of vibrations transferred to the building structure by devices and installations.

Anti-corrosion protection of Walraven fasteners
All Walraven roof fastening system components are protected against corrosion by the BIS UltraProtect® 1000 system, which guarantees almost twice the weather resistance of hot-dip galvanised steel, as demonstrated in the standardised salt mist test.
How should you select the roof foot and dimensions of the structure for a roof device?
First of all, we need to know what roof layers are planned in the project. Depending on the insulation used – mineral wool or Styrodur – roof footings have different load-bearing parameters, depending on their surface area and the compressibility coefficient of the roof insulation. Exceeding these load-bearing parameters can result in a lack of structural stability, the destruction of the roof membrane and flooding of the building interior.
The dimensions of the structure and the size of the profiles are calculated primarily based on the weight of the device and its lateral area. This methodology guarantees the stability of the device loaded with lateral wind pressure at a load in accordance with Eurocode.
The Walraven product range allows you to create a substructure for roof-mounted equipment, ensuring safety, durability and high efficiency.
