With the certainty and ease of connections in installations in mind, Valvex introduces installer-friendly solutions to its offer. The answer to the needs of contractors are new ball valves for boiler connections – water and gas.
The gas outlet under the boiler is characterized by an external thread with a flat seal approach - for such a connection, Valvex recommends the new Valvex ORION gas valve, which is available in a straight and angle version. It has a rotating nut and an NBR flat seal, which allows for a quick and safe gas connection to the boiler using a single valve, while replacing several connectors, extensions and screw connections. Valvex offers two diameters of this product: DN15 and DN20. By selecting the right dimension, the installer can use the new solution to connect all gas boilers in home installations.

Features and operating parameters of the ORION valve
- Rotating nut – simple and quick connection to the boiler.
- NBR flat seal – secure connection.
- MOP pressure class 5.
- Temperature class T 2 – according to EN 331:1998/A1:2010.
- High-quality materials – reliable use, 25-year warranty.
In addition to the gas connection, gas boilers have supply and return connections for the central heating and domestic hot water installations. As a rule, the domestic hot water connection (from the flow exchanger) has a DN15 thread, and the central heating connection - DN20. A safe and quick way to make both connections is SPIN valves, designed for connecting boilers.
ORION gas ball valves with rotating nut
SPIN valves with a rotating nut and drain provide many benefits for the installer, directly reducing assembly time and ensuring safe operation of the installation and its subsequent maintenance. The drain integrated with the valve ensures easy refilling and discharge of the agent in/from the installation. The rotating nut with a flat seal allows for quick and safe connection of the installation to the boiler with a connection. Two versions of the red and blue handle allow for appropriate marking of the hot/cold water thread in the installation.
Features and operating parameters of the SPIN valve
- The drain integrated with the valve ensures easy refilling of the agent in the system or its discharge.
- Rotating nut/fibre gasket – simple and quick connection to the boiler.
- Reliable connection – thanks to the nut and gasket used
flat. - Reliability of use – high-quality materials, 25-year warranty.
- Two versions of handles – hot water – red, cold water – blue.
- Dimension DN20.
- Operating parameters: PN25/ temp. 95 o C.
SPIN ball valves with rotating nut and drain valve
For even greater convenience for installers, Valvex has introduced a connection kit for the SPIN&ORION boiler – a complete assembly solution that includes:
- SPIN valve with rotating nut and DN20 drain with blue handle,
- SPIN valve with rotating nut and DN20 drain with red handle,
- ORION gas valve with swivel nut DN15.
Where the connection of utility water to a gas boiler requires the use of a DN15 valve, SPIN valves with a rotating nut will be used. These valves are available with a lever or butterfly handle, which allows the solution to be adapted to the dimensions of the installation. In addition to the connection system for boilers, these valves can also be used as a connection for water meters and heat meters. They will also work well as shut-off cocks for a DHW tank with GZ connectors.
Distinctive features
- Many possible applications – connection system for boilers, connection to water meters, heat meters.
- Application as shut-off valves for DHW tanks (installation at
GZ connections). - The valve swivel nut is adapted to the sealing bands under
water meters. - Operating parameters: PN25/temp. 95 o C.
- Reliability of use – high-quality materials, 25-year warranty.
- Fiber gasket.
- DN15 (G 1/2” – G1/2”; G1/2”-G3/4”).
- DN20 (G3/4”-G3/4”;G3/4”-G1”).
- Handle version: butterfly/lever.
Valvex's ergonomic product solutions make their use and operation in the installation easy. The innovative method of assembly translates into the comfort of the installer's work, and the materials used guarantee long-term use of the installation.
