The system consists of, among others, Tichelman collectors with connecting stubs, made of polyethylene or polypropylene pipes and PE-RT heating pipes with strips fastening the pipes to the substrate. An integral part of this offer are automation elements in the form of snow and ice sensors and temperature sensors with digital controllers. The photos illustrating the article show some selected facilities where KAN-therm systems were used. KAN has already supplied its products to dozens of stadiums not only in Poland but also abroad (e.g. to the stadium in Lviv or Kiev).
Floor heating of sports facilities with KAN-therm
KAN also specializes in heating sports floors. For their heating, the manufacturer offers, in addition to heating pipes and their fastening systems, a large selection of thermal insulation.
For point-elastic sports floors, the KAN-therm TBS insulation system can be used, where the heating pipes are mounted in metal radiator lamellas placed in polystyrene thermal insulation. In turn, the heating of surface-elastic sports floors constructed on joists can be implemented in the KAN-therm Rail system, where the heating pipes are placed in special profile strips mounted on thermal insulation.
