When will it be possible to submit applications for funding for energy storage facilities in 2025?
The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) is currently recruiting applications for the sixth edition of the Mój Prąd program . Funding comes from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment (FEnIKS) program. The recruitment of applications in the Mój Prąd 6.0 program has been extended until March 6, 2025 or until funds are exhausted due to the funds still available in the budget of this edition. 
If you want to apply for co-financing for a photovoltaic micro-installation reported for connection to the power grid from 1 August 2024, you are also obliged to invest in an electricity storage and/or heat storage. The power of your photovoltaic installation should be in the range of 2-20 kW, and the capacity of the reported energy storage should be at least 2 kWh. Co-financed photovoltaic installations must be connected to the power grid, and the electricity storage must be reported to the distribution network operator. The total power of all RES installations owned by the prosumer cannot exceed 50 kW.
How much will subsidies for energy storage be in 2025?
In the Mój Prąd 6.0 program, co-financing for a photovoltaic micro-installation with an energy storage facility is up to PLN 7,000 + co-financing for an additional element . Co-financing for an electricity storage facility is up to PLN 16,000 . The total amount of co-financing for a photovoltaic micro-installation, energy storage facility and heat storage facility may amount to a maximum of PLN 28,000 , but not more than 50% of eligible costs .
Importantly, the Mój Prąd 6.0 program allows for the submission of an extended application for co-financing only for additional elements , i.e. electricity storage or heat storage. However, there is one condition - the applicant must demonstrate the installation of a photovoltaic micro-installation, indicating the number of the basic application in the sixth, fifth or fourth recruitment. You can also submit an extended application if you have received co-financing for a PV micro-installation from other public funds, but provided that your PV micro-installation meets the requirements of the Mój Prąd program.
