What is the heat buffer used for?
Before we discuss individual models of heat buffers, let's remind ourselves what they are and what their applications are? Heat buffers protect hot water resources in the event that the heating source stops working. This allows you to generate savings resulting from interruptions in the burning of fuels or the use of cheaper electricity tariffs at specific hours.
Modern designs of buffer tanks allow for connections to several heat sources, but it should be added that, in addition to boilers, buffers also cooperate with heat pumps and solar collectors. It is therefore possible to use buffer tanks in buildings powered by renewable energy sources.
