The new GALMET product is a universal, efficient and fast standing enameled domestic hot water exchanger with an enlarged spiral coil and increased heating power, designed to work with heat pumps - both with on/off and inverter compressors. The high flexibility of Tower Grand exchangers is due to the significantly enlarged spiral coil - it has a surface area from 1.4 m2 (for the Tower Grand 160 exchanger) to 4.3 m2 (for the Tower Grand 500 exchanger), which is even more than twice as large as in classic domestic hot water exchangers.
The large capacity range - from 160 to 500 liters allows for optimal adjustment of these heaters to the requirements of heat pumps of both very small (approx. 3.5 kW) and higher power (approx. 14 kW). Convenient installation and comfortable use of the Galmet Tower Grand exchanger
In the Tower Grand exchanger, the hydraulic connections are located at the back of the heater, which ensures convenient installation , improves the aesthetics of the installation and facilitates everyday use. The rear part also contains covers for mounting sensors from the heat pump and a sleeve for connecting the circulation pump. The use of a circulation pump in the domestic hot water circuit allows access to water at a constant temperature at every point of the installation. The high functionality of Tower Grand heaters is influenced by the possibility of powering them also with an electric heater, which is optionally installed with a GE electrical set on a Gw 6/4” plug. The control of the exchanger's operation is facilitated by a large, legible thermometer placed on the front wall.
The exceptional utility properties and wide configuration possibilities of this exchanger in heating sets mean that it has virtually no competition on the market. At the same time, it is affordable. Durability and safe use of Tower Grand domestic hot water exchangers
The reliability of Tower Grand domestic hot water exchangers is guaranteed by the highest quality anti-corrosion protection. The EXTRA GLASS ® ceramic enamel used in Galmet brand enameled water heaters creates a smooth and durable protective barrier on the inner surface of the tanks and on the spiral coil. It is applied evenly over the entire surface using the "wet" method and fired at a temperature of 850°C, which ensures its very high durability. The degree of protection is reinforced by the standard magnesium anode. An optional active titanium anode can also be used in the Tower Grand water heater, which does not require inspections and servicing - it is practically maintenance-free. Two types of active titanium anodes are available: small - for a tank capacity of up to 300 liters and a large single one for a capacity of 400 and 500 liters. Additional protection is provided by the DIELECTRIC PROTECTION ® protection of the water heater connections .

DIELECTRIC PROTECTION® is an anti-corrosion protection for enamelled tank connections that significantly extends the life of the tank and therefore the entire installation.
The use of protection in the form of dielectric connectors allows to avoid direct contact of the metal elements of the tank with the copper installation. This prevents damage to the connections. Plastic connectors - not conducting electricity - are mounted between the tank connection stubs and the installation wires.
Tower Grand GALMET is a heater with very high efficiency. This is due to the excellent coil with an enlarged surface and perfect insulation. A thick insulating layer made of hard polyurethane foam provides maximum thermal protection, i.e. long maintenance of the set water temperature. Heat losses are also blocked by the external PVC casing mounted on the insulation. Effective insulation of the tank directly affects the reduction of water heating costs in the installation.
