The new GALMET product is a universal, efficient and fast standing enameled hot water exchanger with an enlarged spiral coil and increased heating power, designed to work with heat pumps - both on/off and inverter compressors. The great flexibility of operation of Tower Grand exchangers is due to the significantly enlarged spiral coil - it has an area from 1.4 m 2 (for the Tower Grand 160 exchanger) to 4.3 m 2 (for the Tower Grand 500 exchanger), which is even more than twice as large as in classic hot water exchangers
A large capacity range - from 160 to 500 liters allows these heaters to be optimally adapted to the requirements of heat pumps with both very low (approx. 3.5 kW) and higher power (approx. 14 kW). Convenient installation and comfortable use of the Galmet Tower Grand exchanger
In the Tower Grand exchanger, the hydraulic connections are located at the back of the heater, which ensures convenient installation , improves the aesthetics of the installation and facilitates everyday operation. At the back there are also covers for mounting heat pump sensors and a sleeve for connecting the circulation pump. The use of a circulation pump in the domestic hot water circuit allows access to water at a constant temperature at every point in the installation. The high functionality of Tower Grand heaters is influenced by the possibility of powering them also with an electric heater, which is optionally installed with the GE electric set on a 6/4" Gw plug. Monitoring the operation of the exchanger is made easier by a large, easy-to-read thermometer placed on the front wall.
The unique functional properties and extensive configuration possibilities of this exchanger in heating sets mean that it has virtually no competition on the market. It is also affordable. Experts indicate that Tower Grand will certainly enjoy great interest, especially in installations with inverter heat pumps.
Durability and safe use of Tower Grand hot water exchangers
The guarantee of reliability of Tower Grand hot water exchangers is the highest quality anti-corrosion protection. EXTRA GLASS ® ceramic enamel used in Galmet enamelled heaters creates a smooth and durable protective barrier on the inner surface of the tanks and on the spiral coil. It is applied using the "wet" method evenly over the entire surface and fired at a temperature of 850°C, which ensures its very high durability. The degree of protection is enhanced by the standardly installed magnesium anode. In the Tower Grand heater, an active titanium anode can also be optionally used, which does not require inspections and servicing - it is practically maintenance-free. Two types of active titanium anodes are available: small - for a tank capacity of up to 300 liters and a large single one for a capacity of 400 and 500 liters. Additional protection is provided by DIELECTRIC PROTECTION ® protection of the heater connections .

DIELECTRIC PROTECTION® is an anti-corrosion protection for enameled tank connections, which significantly extends the life of the tank and therefore the entire installation.
The use of protection in the form of dielectric connectors allows to avoid direct contact of the metal elements of the tank with the copper installation. This means there is no damage to the connections. Plastic connectors - non-conductive - are installed between the tank connection stubs and the installation cables.
Tower Grand GALMET is a heater with very high efficiency. This is due to the excellent coil with an enlarged surface and perfect insulation. A thick insulating layer made of hard polyurethane foam ensures maximum thermal protection, i.e. maintaining the set water temperature for a long time. Heat losses are also blocked by the external PVC casing mounted on insulation. Effective tank insulation directly reduces the costs of water heating in the installation.
