Unfortunately, we are unable to clearly answer this question. As a rule, double-sided tape should not permanently damage the surface if we want to, for example, dismantle a mirror or some decoration. However, a lot depends on the parameters of the substrate and the product itself.
When buying double-sided tape, be sure to check in the description whether a given model can be torn off without leaving any marks on the surface. We must take into account the risk that when removing the strong mounting foil, we will damage the wallpaper or tear off the paint layer. Fixing objects using strong double-sided tape, contrary to appearances, is permanent, not temporary. If we plan to remove the attached item after a short time - without leaving any traces on the wall, it will be safer to look for another solution.
