Grate with transverse bars, 100 cm, stainless steel – load class C250
The grate made of stainless steel ensures corrosion resistance and long-term durability in conditions exposed to moisture, road salt, or chemicals. Its construction with transverse bars allows for even load distribution, which is crucial for light vehicle traffic – from cars to trucks weighing up to 25 tons.
Compliant with standard PN-EN 1433:2005+A1, this component is part of the ACO DRAIN Multiline system, which operates in conjunction with a polymer concrete channel. The channel has a V-profile – this ensures water flows more efficiently, and sediments are naturally washed towards the outlet even at low flow rates. This not only facilitates cleaning but also reduces the need for frequent maintenance.
Mounting is achieved via the Drainlock® system – a screwless snap-lock mechanism allows for quick and secure installation and easy access to the channel interior at any time. There is no need to dismantle the entire system to check its condition or remove a blockage. This is a significant advantage for installers and maintenance crews.
The clear width of the channel is 100 mm, and the grate width is 123 mm. These dimensions are matched to standard Multiline V 100 channels and require no additional adjustments during installation. The grate weighs 2.6 kg – heavy enough to remain in place under load, yet light enough for transport and manual handling.
Do not use for transverse drainage on motorways and expressways. For such areas, the ACO Drain® Monoblock RD system is recommended.
Compared to the galvanized version, stainless steel does not require additional surface protection and is resistant to fading or rust – particularly useful in areas with a high risk of exposure to salt or aggressive cleaning agents.

- The V profile of the channel allows for the self-cleaning effect to be achieved in small catchments (narrow catchments and short sections of linear drainage).
- Possibility to use channels with a profiled bottom slope of 0.5% (e.g. when it is required that hazardous substances flow to the receiver).
- The system can be sealed with special masses to maintain full tightness, if required.
