Thanks to load class E-600 according to standard EN 1433, the structure is ready to support vehicles with a gross weight of up to 100 tons, making it the standard in airports, container terminals, and truck loading zones. The absence of a grate in the set means the product is supplied as a channel only, allowing flexible selection of an appropriate grate (e.g., stainless steel or cast iron) to suit project specifics and surrounding aesthetics.
Construction and hydraulic properties
The key to the effectiveness of this solution is the V-shaped cross-sectional profile. This shape not only optimizes water flow but primarily accelerates it at the narrowest point of the channel. This phenomenon ensures natural self-cleaning of the channel from sediments and small debris, significantly reducing maintenance costs and service frequency. The construction material – polymer concrete – combines the strength of concrete with the chemical resistance of plastics. It is frost-resistant, guaranteeing structural stability even under multiple freeze-thaw cycles without risk of cracking or surface flaking.
