Polymer Concrete Drainage System Termination

This terminating element plays a key role in linear drainage systems, ensuring watertightness and an aesthetically pleasing finish to the water flow path. Made from durable polymer concrete, the material is characterized by low water absorption and high frost resistance, which is essential for installation in external zones. Thanks to the use of 4 mm thick galvanized steel edges, the wall gains additional rigidity and protection against mechanical damage during transport and operation.

Application and Compatibility with the Multiline System

The product is dedicated to ACO Drain® Multiline systems, where it forms an integral part of channels with a clear width of 100 mm (V 100 series). Its design allows installation in locations where it is necessary to close a channel section or create a passage for sewer pipes (in the version with a socket). The installation height is 10 cm, corresponding to standard laying depths in many industrial and municipal applications.

It is worth noting that the V-shaped channel cross-section supports the self-cleaning process of the system, and the front wall does not disrupt this flow. This element is compatible with various load classes – from A15 (pedestrian areas) to E600 (industrial areas), provided the appropriate grate is selected for the rest of the installation.

Functionality and Structural Features

The main advantage of the wall is its construction from polymer concrete, which, due to its non-absorbent nature, does not absorb water and does not crack under freeze-thaw cycles. The edges reinforced with 4 mm thick galvanized steel add rigidity to the element, facilitating its transport and installation without risk of damage. The overall dimensions are adapted to V 100 channels: the construction length is 120 cm with a height of 10 cm, and the unit itself weighs only about 0.7 kg. Such a lightweight construction allows for manual handling and positioning of the element without the use of a crane or additional lifting equipment. At the junction with other system segments, additional sealing with SF compound is possible, ensuring the watertightness of the entire drainage system.

This element allows designers and contractors to maintain the visual consistency of the entire surface while guaranteeing the functionality of the drainage system even in difficult atmospheric conditions. Thanks to precise dimensions, installation proceeds quickly without unnecessary downtime. It is worth remembering that the load class of the entire system depends on the selected type of grate installed over the channel, while the wall itself provides stable support for the structure.
