Polymer concrete channel with galvanized edges – solution for heavy loads

The channel, made of polymer concrete and 1000 mm long, is designed for operating conditions requiring high load resistance – class E-600 according to EN-1433. This means it is suitable for local roads, parking lots, loading zones, and other areas where trucks or commercial vehicles drive.

The V-shaped cross-section allows natural water flow towards the center of the channel, increasing drainage efficiency and promoting self-cleaning – there is no need to worry about sediment accumulation at the edges. The polymer concrete material is frost-resistant and stable under freeze-thaw cycles, guaranteeing long-term structural integrity even in harsh climates.

The protective edges made of galvanized steel are factory-attached and reinforce the channel structure along its entire length. They require no additional assembly – they are ready to be laid in asphalt or concrete. The internal groove along the edges is intended for filling with SF grout, ensuring tightness and aesthetic integration with the surrounding surface.

The system does not include a grate – it is a base element that can be matched with a selected grate (e.g., stainless steel or cast iron) at a later stage of installation. The connection between elements is not standard – it requires the use of appropriate connecting components from the ACO range, providing flexibility in designing the drainage line.

No additional reinforcement is needed – the structure is ready for installation. Mounting is simple: lay on the substrate, fill with grout, and fit the grate. It operates without the need for additional seals or gluing.
