The ACO GALA G100 channel, made of durable polymer concrete, is a component of a linear drainage system designed for operation under conditions requiring resistance to load class C-250. Thanks to the use of a modern concrete composite, this product combines high mechanical strength with resistance to atmospheric factors, including frost. It is a solution dedicated mainly to recreational areas, such as sidewalks, bicycle paths, school courtyards, or areas around sports fields.

The high load class C-250 allows for the safe use of this channel in areas with pedestrian traffic and light vehicle passage (e.g., forklifts, tow trucks). The polymer concrete material ensures not only the durability of the structure but also the possibility of sealing joints during installation, which is crucial for maintaining the watertightness of the entire drainage system.

Application and functionality in the field

The product, with a length of 1000 mm and type 20.0, is characterized by simple geometry, facilitating its integration with various types of surfaces. In the bottom of the channel, there is a special groove (so-called "to be knocked out"), which allows the installer to quickly and precisely create a drainage outlet hole at any point along the section. This solution eliminates the need for additional transition elements where they are not required by the project.

Although the set does not include a grate (the product is sold as a channel without a cover), the structure is prepared for cooperation with symmetrical cast iron grates from the ACO GALA series. Such a setup allows for flexible adaptation of aesthetics and functionality to the specific needs of the investment – from simple sidewalks to more representative squares.
