Extension for Increasing the Height of a Courtyard Drain

The ACO SELF extension (02102) is a monolithic element made of polymer concrete, designed to adjust the height of a courtyard drain to specific installation conditions—for example, when the system must be installed below the ground frost line. This is a key component for installers requiring precise adjustment of the outlet level without replacing the entire system.

It features a molded recess with a diameter of 110 mm on the side, intended for direct connection of a roof downpipe without additional fittings or adapters. This simplifies installation and eliminates potential leak points. The 200 mm height allows compensation for level differences between the pavement surface and the downpipe, which is particularly useful during renovations or in areas with minimal ground slope.

The element is frost-resistant and mechanically durable—intended exclusively for pedestrian traffic, yet capable of supporting the weight of people, carts, and light equipment. It is not suitable for vehicular traffic. Its design connects seamlessly with the base ACO SELF® drain via matching shapes and locking mechanisms, ensuring watertightness and stability.

The sediment basket in the system facilitates easy removal of debris—it can be taken out by hand without tools. Installation is straightforward: the extension is placed on top of the drain and secured by the weight of the grate and surface load. No gluing or special tools are required.

Dimensions of 25 x 25 x 20 cm and a weight of 5.7 kg make it easy to transport and handle on-site. The color—natural beige—integrates well with most concrete and stone surfaces.
