Aluminum Wipe-Off Mats with Corduroy Filling

The mat is constructed from an aluminum load-bearing profile, filled with natural black corduroy. Its design ensures effective removal of dirt and moisture from footwear before entering a building – both indoors and under an outdoor canopy. It is not intended for vehicle traffic but safely withstands pedestrian traffic and the passage of wheelchairs.

The aluminum profile is durable and corrosion-resistant, while the corduroy filling effectively traps sand, dust, and moisture – preventing them from spreading further and ensuring no slipping underfoot. The mat dimensions (990 x 490 mm) are 10 mm smaller than the construction dimensions (1000 x 500 mm), guaranteeing precise installation within the ACO Vario system – both in aluminum angle profiles and polymer-concrete bases.

Installation is simple – just place the mat into the ready-made frame or base. No specialized tools or additional fastening elements are required. The construction height is only 22 mm, allowing for step or stairway entrances without thresholds – safely and aesthetically.

The base of the mat features a drainage outlet with a diameter of ∅110 mm, enabling direct connection to a linear drainage system. This is a key feature for installers: no additional drilling or outlet adaptation is needed – everything is pre-designed.

The mat functions as both a functional and aesthetic element – its black color harmonizes with most floor and wall surfaces. It requires no special maintenance: regular vacuuming or brushing is sufficient.
