For mounting cast iron grates in ACO Gala G100 channels

The crossbar provides permanent and secure fixation of the cast iron grate within the ACO Gala G100 channel system. It is an integral mounting component ensuring that the heavy grate—even under C250 load class conditions—does not shift or exert pressure on the channel edges. Installation is straightforward: the crossbar is placed inside the channel and then secured with M8x60 screws, which press the grate firmly against the base. This solution eliminates the risk of grate displacement or "bouncing" caused by pedestrian traffic, vehicles, or vibrations.

Made from galvanized steel, it is resistant to corrosion and atmospheric conditions—even with frequent exposure to water, salt, or street chemicals. No additional protection or maintenance is required after installation. Its design is optimized for precise fit within the G100 channel profile: it does not protrude above the edge level, does not interfere with drainage, and does not create debris accumulation points.

In kits including the mounting set (screw + crossbar), one crossbar is required per every 50 cm of cast iron grate length—meaning two crossbars are needed for a standard 1-meter channel. This ensures even load distribution and overall structural stability.

Important note: this crossbar cannot function independently—it must be used with the appropriate M8x60 screws (catalog no. 02042) and only with C250 class cast iron grates. It is not suitable for slot grates (B125) or other drainage systems; its function is strictly defined and irreplaceable within this specific system.

Using this crossbar not only fulfills the technical requirements of standard PN-EN 1433:2005+A1 but also guarantees long-term, safe, and maintenance-free operation of the linear drainage system.
