Cast iron grate with transverse bars – resistant to heavy loads

Manufactured from cast iron, this grate is designed for applications where durability and resistance to mechanical loads are critical. Load class C250 indicates suitability for areas with intensive traffic – from sidewalks and cycle paths to platforms and road edges. It does not require replacement after a few years, as cast iron does not deform under the weight of vehicles or trucks.

The top surface features a patented pattern – it not only looks distinct but also better resists slipping and traps snow or leaves. This is practically important: less cleaning, less risk of slipping, especially when wet.

A length of 500 mm and a width of 127 mm are standard dimensions for the ACO GALA G100 system. It fits perfectly into channels with a 10 cm width, commonly used in linear drainage systems. Installation is simple – the grate is secured with screws, without the need for welding or specialized equipment. The installer does not require additional tools; a screwdriver is sufficient.

Compliant with standard PN-EN 1433:2005+A1 – meaning it meets European safety requirements for drainage components. It is not "just another grate" – it is a specific element from the G100 series, designed to function only in conjunction with this system.
