Crossbar for ACO GALA G100 Stainless Steel Grating

The crossbar secures the grating against theft and accidental removal – it is an integral part of the screw-based mounting system that keeps the grating in place even under heavy pedestrian or vehicular traffic. Made of stainless steel, it does not rust, requires no maintenance, and is resistant to road salt, de-icing agents, and moisture – ideal for high-load outdoor areas.

It is compatible exclusively with A15-type gratings (transverse bars) within the ACO GALA G100 system. Its design enables quick and precise installation – only two components per meter of channel are required, secured with M8x60 conical screws. No additional tools or adjustments are needed: once the screw is tightened, the grating is permanently and safely held in place.

Compared to galvanized versions, stainless steel offers extended service life in environments exposed to moisture and chemicals – particularly important for drainage systems in school courtyards, curb-side street strips, platforms, or sports fields. There is no need to replace it after a few years; it remains equally effective after 10, 15, or even more years.

Compliant with standard PN-EN 1433:2005+A1, designed for systems with a 10 cm width and load class up to C250. It is not suitable for grid gratings (B125) or cast iron gratings (C250), as their mounting requires different components. This is not a universal crossbar – it is a precisely matched component for a specific solution.

If you are installing a stainless steel grating, this crossbar is the only correct choice. Other options are neither physically nor technically compatible.
