Mounting for ACO GALA G100 Gratings – Stainless Steel Screw

The M8x60 screw used in the ACO GALA G100 system ensures safe and durable fixation of transverse gratings, both stainless steel and galvanized. Its conical design allows for easy and precise clamping of the grating to the channel, maintaining a constant, stable position even under heavy pedestrian or vehicle traffic.

Compared to standard screws, this version is made of stainless steel, eliminating the risk of rust and corrosion—particularly important in areas exposed to moisture, road salt, or frequent washing. This not only extends the system's service life but also reduces maintenance and replacement costs.

Anti-theft protection is a key advantage—the screw cannot be easily unscrewed without the appropriate tool. In practice, this means the grating will neither become accidentally detached nor be deliberately stolen, which is especially critical in public spaces such as sidewalks, school courtyards, platforms, or curb-side urban drainage systems.

Installation is simple: the screw clamps the transverse bar to the polymer-concrete channel, and its shape prevents rotation during tightening. No additional components are required—it works directly with the mounting transverse bar (e.g., 02747) and the grating (e.g., 06318 or 06319). All components are designed as a compatible set; no screw is "universal"—only this specific one fits this system.

Compliant with standard PN-EN 1433:2005+A1, intended for use in load class A15. Not suitable for cast iron gratings (C250)—different mounting types are used there. This is not a "one-size-fits-all" solution; it is a precisely matched system component.
