Mounting for galvanized steel grating with transverse bars ACO GALA G100 06309
Mounting bracket for galvanized steel grate – theft protection and installation stability
This mounting set consists of one crossbar and one bolt, specifically designed for securing grates in the ACO GALA G100 system. It is made of galvanized steel – a corrosion-resistant material that ensures long-term durability even in humid and salt-exposed environments such as sidewalks, school courtyards, or curb-side areas.
Using this mounting solution is not only a technical requirement but also a security measure. Thanks to the screw-based grate fixation system, the grate cannot be easily removed or displaced without the appropriate tools. This is a key advantage in public areas where the risk of theft or unauthorized dismantling is real.
Installation is simple: the crossbar is placed underneath the grate, and the M8x60 bolt (compatible with other system components) is tightened against the polymer concrete channel. No additional components are required – it works directly with A15 load class grates of 50 cm and 100 cm lengths. There is no need to experiment with other mounting types – this set is designed as a complete solution for this specific model.
Important note: although grates may be made of cast iron or stainless steel, the galvanized crossbar and bolt are the standard solution for load class A15 – i.e., pedestrian areas, cycle paths, and recreational zones. It is not suitable for heavier loads (C250), where different mounting types are used – but where stability is required without excessive costs, this is the ideal choice.
This is a system component – it does not function independently. It operates only in combination with the A15 load class ACO GALA G100 grate. There is no point in purchasing it separately if you are not installing this specific system. However, if you are installing it, this is the only correct method for secure and durable fixation.
