Galvanized Steel Grate for ACO Gala G100 System
The grate, with a length of 1000 mm and a construction width of 130 mm, is designed for mounting on the crossbars of the ACO Gala G100 channel. Its construction from galvanized steel ensures corrosion resistance in external conditions—no additional coating or maintenance is required. The clear width of the channel is 100 mm, and the grate covers the entire drainage opening, eliminating the risk of displacement or improper installation.
Mounting is achieved using screws and crossbars—this solution enables quick disassembly without damaging the channel, which is essential during cleaning, maintenance, or component replacement. This feature is confirmed in ACO documentation as "grate mounting with screws."
Load class A-15 (in accordance with EN-1433) indicates that the grate is approved for loads typical of sidewalks, recreational areas, school courtyards, and street curbs—it is not designed for heavy vehicle traffic. This limitation results from its construction and cannot be circumvented by mounting it on a different channel.
The grate functions exclusively as the upper component of the drainage system—its role is to allow water passage and transfer loads to the channel. The channel itself is made of polymer concrete. Sealing of the system using mastics applies to the channels, not the grates.
