Galvanized Steel Grating, 50 cm, Class B125 – for ACO GALA G100 system

The grating is designed for installation in ACO GALA G100 channels, where its function is to allow water passage while preventing the entry of larger objects—from leaves to stones. Made of galvanized steel, it features a fixed grid structure with 30 x 20 mm openings, ensuring effective filtration without clogging under moderate loads.

Its width (127 mm) and length (500 mm) are precisely matched to the G100 channel dimensions—no cutting or adjustment is required. Installation is simple: the grating is pressed onto the crossbars and secured with screws that are part of the system. No additional tools or specialized knowledge are needed—a screwdriver is sufficient.

Load class B125 indicates suitability for pedestrian traffic and light vehicles—sidewalks, school courtyards, residential areas, platforms, or street curbs. It is not suitable for roads with heavy motor traffic, but performs flawlessly in areas without trucks or construction vehicles.

Compared to gratings with transverse bars (e.g., Class A15), this grid construction offers a larger open area—approximately 687 cm²/m. This means better water drainage during rain and snowmelt. Mud and leaves do not accumulate on it, making cleaning easier.

This is not a polymer-concrete grating—it is only the top element. The channel beneath is made of polymer concrete and has Class C250, but the grating itself meets only Class B125. Important: You cannot install it on a channel of a different class than G100 and expect higher load capacity. The system functions as a whole.

Dimensions are precise: 50 cm length, 127 mm width—compatible only with ACO GALA G100. It cannot be adapted to another system without modification.
