Stainless Steel Grate for ACO GALA G100 System
The 50 cm long, 130 mm wide stainless steel grate is designed for installation in ACO GALA G100 linear drainage channels. Its construction with transverse bars ensures stability and load-bearing capacity for pedestrian traffic, while allowing free water flow through 100 mm wide openings.
Stainless steel prevents rusting, eliminating the need for maintenance even under constant exposure to moisture, road salt, or chemical agents. This is a key advantage in residential areas, sidewalks, school courtyards, or along street curbs where environmental and operational conditions are demanding.
Installation is simple: the grate is bolted to a polymer-concrete crossbar—no welding or embedding in concrete is required. Simply install the crossbar (e.g., 02747) and tighten the conical screw M8x60 (02855). This solution facilitates grate replacement without dismantling the entire channel, making it useful both during renovations and routine system cleaning.
Load class A15 indicates that the grate is intended for pedestrian and light vehicle traffic—ideal for recreational areas, cycle paths, platforms, or zones around sports fields. It is not suitable for roads with motor vehicle traffic; however, within its intended applications, it operates reliably.
The ACO GALA G100 system functions as an integrated unit: the grate is compatible with channel types 0.–20., both sloped and non-sloped. All components are fully compatible, eliminating the need to seek alternatives. If corrosion resistance and long-term functionality are required, stainless steel is the simplest choice.
- Clear width 100mm
- Made of non-absorbent and frost-resistant polymer concrete (confirmed by laboratory tests)
- Maximum load class C250
- Screw fixing of the grate to the crossbar.
- Possibility to use channels with a profiled bottom slope of 0.5% (e.g. when it is required that hazardous substances flow to the receiver).
- The system can be sealed with special masses in order to maintain full tightness, if required.
