Construction and Application

The switch features a durable metal housing with an IP30 protection class, protecting against dust. The ability to mount on a DIN rail or wall simplifies installation in various configurations. A wide operating temperature range from -10 to 60°C (and even -40 to 75°C in an extended version) allows it to be used in harsh environmental conditions. The use of store and forward mechanism and auto-negotiation of speed and MDI/MDI-X guarantees stable and trouble-free data transmission without the need for crossover cables.

Safety and Power Supply

The device provides a high level of safety thanks to ESD protection up to 4000VDC on Ethernet ports and up to 3000VDC on the power line. A redundant power supply in the range of 12-48VDC with automatic switching to an equivalent source in the event of a failure minimizes the risk of network downtime. Additionally, a built-in relay output and LEDs indicate the power and connection status, facilitating diagnostics and maintenance. Reverse polarity protection and a resettable fuse protect against damage caused by incorrect power connection or overload.
