Condensate neutralizer – protection for your installation and the environment

The ACN 120 condensate neutralizer is an essential element of every modern heating installation with a condensing boiler. The device effectively neutralizes the acidic condensate produced during boiler operation, thereby protecting sewer pipes, septic tanks, domestic wastewater treatment plants, and metal elements of the installation. This ensures long-term and trouble-free operation of the entire heating system.

The use of a neutralizer is particularly important in installations with a capacity of up to 35 kW, where the amount of condensate produced is significant. Installation of the device directly under the boiler on the condensate drain pipe is simple and does not require specialized tools.

Construction and operation

The ACN 120 is distinguished by a solid construction based on a housing made of durable polyamide PA66 reinforced with fiberglass. The transparent settling tank allows for continuous monitoring of the amount of neutralizing filler – calcium carbonate (CaCO3) – and its possible replenishment. DN20 angled connections facilitate connection to the existing installation.

The neutralization process involves the reaction of acidic condensate with calcium carbonate, resulting in the pH of the condensate being raised to a neutral value. The neutralized condensate is safe for the environment and does not cause corrosion of the sewer installation elements.

Kit contents and installation

The ACN 120 neutralizer kit includes all the necessary elements for correct installation:

• Wall mounting bracket – provides stable and secure mounting of the device.
• G3/4" x DN20 elbow – allows easy connection to the condensate drain pipe.
• Two packages of neutralizing filler CaCO3 – allow you to replenish the filler if necessary, ensuring the long-term effectiveness of the device.

Installation is intuitive and does not require specialized knowledge. Simply mount the bracket, connect the elbows to the condensate drain pipe, and ensure that the device is securely mounted.
