Magnetic dirt separator for heat pumps – protect your installation

This high-performance ADS 180 HP separator, designed for use with heat pumps, effectively protects heating and cooling systems from the effects of contaminants. Installed on the return line, it provides reliable mechanical and magnetic filtration, extending the life of the heat pump and the entire system. The device is particularly important in installations where the presence of sediment and metallic particles can lead to serious failures and reduced efficiency.

Two filtration systems for maximum protection

ADS 180 HP combines two types of filtration: mechanical using a filter mesh and magnetic using a powerful neodymium magnet. The mesh traps larger contaminants, while the magnet captures metallic particles such as rust and filings. This combination provides comprehensive protection against various contaminants that can damage delicate components of the heating or cooling system.

Design and installation – durability and ease of use

The separator housing is made of durable PA66 polyamide reinforced with fiberglass, which guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to 90°C) and pressure (maximum 3 bar). Equipped with a drain valve, it allows for quick and hygienic removal of accumulated contaminants without the need to disassemble the device. In addition, the cap in the housing can be replaced with an automatic or manual air vent, allowing for effective removal of air from the installation. The separator should be installed on the return line, in a vertical position, according to the direction indicated by the arrow on the housing. It is also recommended to install shut-off valves before and after the separator to facilitate maintenance.
