Mixing valve – precise regulation in heating and cooling systems
This 3-way rotary mixing valve ARV 382 Vario ProClick, with a nominal diameter of DN20 and a Rp 3/4 inch connection, is a reliable solution for temperature control in heating and cooling systems. Its versatility allows it to be used as a mixing, diverting or switching valve, adapting to the needs of the installation. The Kvs coefficient in the range of 3.5-9 ensures optimal flow of the medium, and the solid brass construction guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Construction and functionality
The valve is made of dezincification resistant brass (DZR), which ensures its durability even in harsh operating conditions. Rp 3/4 inch internal threads facilitate installation in existing systems. Octagonal connections further increase convenience during installation, allowing a firm grip with a wrench. The Kvs value in the range of 3.5-9 allows for precise adjustment of the flow to the specifics of the installation. The valve is characterized by a maximum differential pressure in the open position of 10 bar and high tightness – leakage in relation to the Kvs value does not exceed 0.1%.
ProClick system and flow regulation
Equipped with the ProClick system, the valve enables quick and easy actuator mounting without tools – this saves time and convenience for the installer. The Vario function allows changing the Kvs coefficient setting directly on the valve, making it easier to adjust the installation to current needs. A clear two-sided scale (from 0 to 10 with the L symbol and from 10 to 0 with the R symbol) and an indicator of the current spindle position ensure precise control over the mixing process.
Applications
The ARV 382 Vario ProClick valve finds wide application in:
- Heating installations: as a mixing valve on the supply of the installation, ensuring the optimal temperature of the heating medium.
- Cooling installations: for regulating the temperature of cooling water.
- Underfloor heating systems: precise control of the medium temperature in the underfloor circuit.
- Central heating installations: as a regulating element ensuring thermal comfort.
- Systems with electric actuators: possibility of automating the mixing process using an actuator (available separately).
This valve is designed to work with water and water-glycol mixtures with a maximum concentration of 50% in the temperature range from 5°C to 95°C.
