Unlike standard fire detectors, this model utilizes patented technology to precisely recognize the specific structure of cigarette smoke, minimizing the risk of false alarms caused by other contaminants. The device operates as a standalone unit (autonomous) or can be integrated into a wider non-smoking enforcement system, working with central control panels, alarms, and other smoke and fire sensors. Mounting flexibility and advanced control

The device's design allows for surface mounting on the ceiling, where it effectively covers an area with a volume of 27 m³ (dimensions 3x3x3 meters). The housing, made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP), ensures mechanical resistance and an aesthetic appearance in white. Power can be supplied in two ways: using four AA type alkaline batteries or by connecting to the power grid using an appropriate module (e.g., MZE-6), providing flexibility depending on the availability of power points at the installation site. It is worth noting that the device requires a separate mounting base and features a voltage indicator to facilitate power status diagnostics.

Programming and daily operation are intuitive using a wireless remote control (available as an option), eliminating the need for physical access to the sensor for every setting change. The system allows for five-stage sensitivity adjustment – from very high to complete detection shutdown, which is crucial in locations with variable air conditions. The user can also set intervals between messages so that the announcement appears at the right moment after smoke detection. The number of repetitions and the sound level are programmable, allowing the warning intensity to be adjusted to the size of the room. The Windows-based file structure enables easy copying of new recordings via the "drag and drop" method, and dedicated software ensures clear voice quality in every area of the facility.

Application and operating conditions

The device is suitable for a wide range of public and commercial facilities, such as offices, schools, hospitals, banks, courts, restaurants, pubs, casinos, or airports. It is particularly useful where it is necessary to quickly inform people in the room about a smoking ban violation without requiring security personnel intervention. The sensor operates stably in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C at a relative humidity of up to 95% non-condensing. In places exposed to mechanical damage or theft, the use of an additional metal protective cage dedicated to this device model is recommended. The device has a CE certificate and meets the requirements for fire alarm systems and access control for non-smoking zones.

In practical installation, it is worth remembering several key features of this model: the device operates as a Master type sensor, meaning it has the ability to manage cooperation with other system elements. The sensor reacts exclusively to tobacco smoke, ignoring other types of dust or water vapor when sensitivity is appropriately set. There are 5 programmable alarm thresholds available, allowing the device's response to be adjusted to the specifics of the threat – from a "very high" level to complete shutdown. Signaling is carried out via a voice message, which the user selects independently from the programmed audio files.
