The VZ7291 explosive gas meter is a precise tool designed for quick and effective detection of leaks in gas installations, locating damage and checking the tightness of LPG cylinders. The device is suitable for both professional installers and home use, ensuring the safety of users. Thanks to the flexible probe with a length of 450 mm, access to hard-to-reach places is now easier than ever.

Fast response and precise measurement

A key feature of the VZ7291 meter is its high sensitivity – the device signals a potential hazard at a methane concentration of only 40 ppm. A short gas exposure time (less than 10 seconds) allows for rapid leak detection. Audible and visual signaling (six-level scale with a leak detection LED) informs about the presence of gas in a clear and understandable way. The device automatically zeroes and performs a self-test when turned on, guaranteeing the reliability of measurements from the start.

User comfort and versatility

The VZ7291 meter offers great freedom of use thanks to the possibility of powering it with either AA alkaline batteries (4 pcs) or a 9VDC power adapter. The automatic shutdown function after 10 minutes of inactivity helps save energy. In addition, the ability to connect headphones (3.5 mm Jack connector) increases comfort when working in noisy environments, e.g. during vehicle inspections – the device meets the requirements of ITS (Institute of Automotive Technology). Automatic zeroing and calibration facilitate daily use, and the AUTO-TEST button allows for quick verification of the device's status.

The VZ7291 meter is compliant with the Regulation of the Minister of Transport and Construction of February 10, 2006 (Journal of Laws No. 40, item 275), which confirms its usefulness for technical services conducting vehicle inspections.
