Functionality and application

The KTS thermostat uses a bimetallic temperature sensor to monitor the environment. This makes it particularly useful in applications where protection against overheating or maintaining the temperature below a certain threshold is necessary. It can be used to control fans in server cabinets, coolers in electronic devices, or ventilation systems in utility rooms.

Technical characteristics and mounting

The device is characterized by high durability – it withstands over 100,000 switching cycles. Two-pole terminals with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² ensure a safe and stable connection to the electrical installation. Mounting is done using a mounting clip on standard DIN 35 mm rails (according to EN 50022), which facilitates integration with existing infrastructure. The housing made of UL94V-0 plastic provides safety and resistance to external factors. In addition, the device meets electromagnetic compatibility standards (EN 55014-1-2, EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3), which minimizes the risk of interference with other devices.
