Keystone modules – quick installation and high transmission quality

Toolless, shielded ALANTEC transmission sockets are a solution for telecommunications network installations where protection against electromagnetic interference is key. These modules are used both in subscriber points and in cross-connect fields, in both horizontal and vertical installations. Their design allows for quick and comfortable installation without the need for specialized tools – terminating a socket takes even 1/3 of the time compared to traditional methods.

Thanks to universal mounting, the modules can be easily installed in various network infrastructure elements, such as empty patch panels, wall or floor boxes. This flexible solution will work in various network projects. Importantly, these modules allow for cable termination using both toolless and traditional methods with tools.

Safety and reliability confirmed by tests

ALANTEC keystone modules are distinguished by high quality confirmed by tests conducted by the independent INTERTEK laboratory (USA). They meet stringent industry standards such as ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA-568. Shielding minimizes crosstalk and protects against electromagnetic interference – particularly important in environments with high cabling density, such as server rooms or offices with a lot of electronic devices.

The modules are compatible with all types of shielded cables: U/FTP, F/UTP, F/FTP and S/FTP. However, it is important to remember the need for proper grounding of the installation – using them with unshielded cables is not recommended.

ALANTEC Cat. 5E RJ45 keystone modules are characterized by category 5E (class D), offering data transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet). They support PoE+ standard (IEEE 802.3at) enabling power supply for devices such as VoIP phones, WiFi access points or CCTV cameras. Made of high-quality materials – zinc die-cast and flame-retardant plastic – they ensure durability and safety of use.

Additionally, the module design is designed so that plugging in telephone plugs RJ11 or RJ12 does not damage the socket - the connector pins are resistant to deformation.
