Manual drive for disconnectors – reliability and precision in switching
This manual drive, model NRA ŻN-10 w.II, is designed for operating disconnectors without an earthing switch, mounted below the line. It provides smooth and controlled rotational movement, essential for safe and efficient circuit switching. It is a key element of the electrical infrastructure, enabling manual control of disconnectors in situations requiring precision and independence from power supply.
Design and application
The NRA ŻN-10 w.II manual drive is designed to work with disconnectors manufactured by ALPAR, specifically models ON, OUN and their variants (ONp, OUNp, ONM, OUNM, ONMp, OUNMp) with a rated voltage of 24 kV. Mounting is done with two M10 screws, ensuring a stable and secure connection to the disconnector drive mechanism. The drive design allows simultaneous closing and opening of all poles of the disconnector, which significantly simplifies the switching process. This allows installers to quickly and efficiently perform maintenance or repair work.
These types of drives are widely used in overhead lines, both in horizontal and vertical configurations. They can be used in branch lines and as an element of grounded disconnectors (OUN), which also provide safe grounding of the line when it is necessary to disconnect a section of the network. The ability to control both manual (NRA(u)) and motor drives (NEA) provides flexibility in choosing a control method tailored to the specifics of a given installation.
Advantages and benefits
- Versatility: Compatible with a wide range of ALPAR disconnectors of the ON/OUN/ONp/OUNp/ONM/OUNM/ONMp/OUNMp series.
- Precision: Provides smooth rotational movement for accurate circuit switching.
- Safety: Enables manual control in emergency situations or when independence from power supply is required.
- Solid construction: Durable materials guarantee long-lasting and reliable operation even in harsh weather conditions.
- Easy installation: Simple mounting system with M10 screws speeds up installation and reduces labor costs.
- Pole synchronization: Simultaneous closing and opening of all poles increases the efficiency of the switching operation.
- Possibility of modernization: Compatibility with NEA motor drives allows for later automation of the switching process.
