The RUNMp III SA 24/4 disconnect-earthing switch is a key element of energy infrastructure, designed for the safe disconnection and grounding of circuits in overhead medium voltage lines. Construction and application

The RUNMp III SA 24/4 is characterized by a three-pole design based on a common frame and a drive for all poles. Each pole is built on two support insulators – one attached to the base, the other to the movable bearing beam. This solution ensures simultaneous closing and opening of all poles, which is important for maintaining network continuity. The current path of each pole consists of main and auxiliary (mig) contacts, mounted on support cassettes directly on the insulators. This allows for effective switching of electrical circuits and safe grounding of disconnected parts of the installation.

It meets the requirements of PN-EN 62271-103 and PN-EN 61140 regarding the safety and technical parameters of high-voltage switchgear. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +40°C and air humidity below 100%.
