Application and functionality

Elf 2 is not only a precise meter, but also a communication device. It supports the Modbus protocol, enabling integration with building automation systems and remote data reading (wired and wireless). Exchangeable communication modules expand the device's capabilities, allowing connection of additional pulse counters (water meters, electricity meters). Dynamic temperature measurement period (2-6 s) makes it perfect for operation in residential heat substations (logoterms).

Construction and parameters

The device has a housing made of brass, which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. GZ3/4" connection facilitates installation in standard installations. The insertion length is 110 mm, and the maximum medium temperature is 90°C. IP54 protection class guarantees resistance to dust and splashing. Battery power supply ensures independence from external energy sources. The temperature sensor is based on PT500 technology, providing precise measurements.

This heat meter has a nominal diameter of DN 15 (1/2"), external thread connection type and supports the Modbus protocol. It has a protection class of IP54.

It is important to remember to install the meter correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions and to regularly check the battery status to ensure continuous measurements. The device is factory set to measure heat in GJ, but the operating mode can be configured before first use.
