This compact ELF 2 heat meter, designed for return flow installation, is a reliable solution for heat allocation in residential, office, and commercial buildings. The device is characterized by high measurement accuracy and the ability to operate as a heat and cooling meter – or both simultaneously. The brass body ensures durability and corrosion resistance.

Specification and application

The ELF 2 heat meter with a nominal diameter of DN20 (3/4 inch) and a maximum flow rate of Q3 equal to 1.5 m³/h is perfect for installations with a medium temperature of up to 90°C. The insertion length of 130 mm and the GZ1” connection facilitate installation in existing systems. Thanks to the IP54 protection class, the device is resistant to dust and splashing, allowing it to be used in various environmental conditions. Battery power ensures independence from external energy sources.

Functionality and communication

The meter uses a PT500 temperature sensor for precise medium temperature measurement. Support for the Modbus protocol enables integration with building automation systems and remote data reading. The dynamic temperature and integration measurement period (2-6 s) makes the heat meter ideal for use in residential heat substations (logoterms). The ability to exchange communication modules allows the device to be adapted to individual user needs – even connecting additional pulse counters (water meters, electricity meters). The meter's accuracy class is 2 for horizontal mounting (H) and 3 for vertical mounting (V).
