Tubolit DG Pipe Insulation – Protection and Energy Efficiency

Tubolit DG wrap is a flexible insulation material with a closed-cell structure, designed for comprehensive thermal insulation and protection of heating pipes, sanitary pipes, and hot and cold water installations. Made of polyethylene foam, it effectively reduces energy losses, up to 90%, which translates to lower operating costs and reduced CO2 emissions. Thanks to its properties, the wrap protects pipes from aggressive external factors and prevents condensation on cold water pipes.

Properties and Application

Tubolit DG is characterized by a very low thermal conductivity – only 0.04 W/(m·K) – making it an ideal solution for installations requiring high energy efficiency. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 14313:2009, confirming its quality and compliance with European standards. Fire reaction class E provides an additional level of safety. The wrap is particularly recommended for use in central heating installations, domestic hot and cold water systems, and other systems where protection against heat loss and corrosion is crucial. In the initial phase of use, slight shrinkage of the wrap may occur (up to approx. 2% or more under specific conditions), which should be taken into account during installation.
