Tubolit DG insulation sleeve – effective thermal and acoustic protection
Tubolit DG polyethylene sleeve is a proven system for thermal, acoustic and protective insulation, designed for heating, hot and cold water installations and drainage pipes. It is ideal for both residential and industrial buildings, providing effective reduction of energy losses and improved comfort. Thanks to its flexibility and ease of installation, Tubolit DG is a solution that saves time and money.
Product features and application
Tubolit DG is made of polyethylene foam with a closed-cell structure. Its main task is to minimize heat loss, protect against condensation and reduce noise in installations. The thermal conductivity coefficient at 0.04 W/(m·K) guarantees high insulation efficiency, and the E fire reaction class ensures safety of use. The product is used for insulating central heating pipes, water supply installations and drainage pipes. It is particularly recommended where high quality insulation and durability are required.
Advantages and benefits
- High insulation efficiency: Low thermal conductivity (0.04 W/(m·K)) reduces energy losses by up to 90%, which translates into lower heating and cooling costs.
- Protection against condensation: Prevents moisture from forming on the surface of the pipes, protecting them from corrosion and damage.
- Noise reduction: Acoustic insulation reduces the noise level from liquids or gases flowing in the pipes, improving the acoustic comfort in the rooms.
- Easy installation: The flexible material makes it easy to fit the shape of pipes and installation elements, and the ability to cut and shape allows for precise adaptation to specific installation conditions.
- Durability and reliability: Made of high-quality materials, the sleeve is characterized by a long service life and resistance to mechanical damage and weathering.
- CE marking: Confirms compliance with European standards and regulations, guaranteeing high product quality.
- Resistance to building materials: It is resistant to commonly used building materials such as cement, lime or gypsum.
- Operating temperature: Can be used in a wide range of operating temperatures (up to +100°C).
Remember the potential shrinkage of the sleeve by about 2% after installation – it is worth taking this into account when cutting and fitting the elements! For gluing, it is recommended to use dedicated Armacell adhesives to ensure optimal connection durability.
