AURATON Hydra is a controller designed for automatic opening and closing of a three-way valve, providing optimal temperature regulation in heating systems. The device works perfectly with both actuators equipped with limit switches and without them, as well as in combination with a four-way valve. Thanks to precise control, the controller allows for efficient energy use and reduced heating costs.

Functionality and ease of use

Hydra is characterized by proportional opening and closing of the valve in a hysteresis range of +/-5°C. This means that every change in temperature by 1°C causes a change in the valve position by 10%, which translates into smooth and stable regulation. The user has full control over the temperature in the range of 10°C to 90°C, and the temperature measurement takes place in the range of 2°C to 99°C. Equipped with a clear LED display, the controller continuously informs about the current temperature. Additionally, acoustic signaling of the operating mode and LEDs facilitate monitoring the device status.

The autocalibration function starts automatically after a momentary power failure and every 14 days, guaranteeing precision. The AntiStop function prevents the valve from getting stuck, which is particularly important in rarely used installations.
