AURATON Ursa is an advanced device designed for comprehensive control of circulating pumps in central heating (CH) and domestic hot water (DHW) systems. The controller also works perfectly with water-jacketed fireplaces and blow-through boilers for coal and hard coal, offering a wide range of configuration options for various heating systems. Therefore, regardless of the heat source, it is possible to optimize the system operation and reduce operating costs.

Functionality and application

Ursa allows for precise temperature setting in the range of 10°C to 85°C, and accurate temperature measurement is carried out in the range of 0°C to 99°C. Depending on the set temperature, the controller automatically switches the pump on or off, ensuring optimal operating conditions of the installation. Additionally, the controller has a function to limit the fan power (automatically or manually) and facilitate the process of adding fuel to the furnace, while blocking the fan operation – particularly useful in solid fuel boilers.

Safety first: In the event of a temperature increase in the installation above 85°C, an emergency heat recovery function is activated, using a domestic hot water tank with the support of a central heating pump, protecting the system from overheating and potential damage.

For installers: The controller has a readable LCD display with current operating indicators, divided into four sections responsible for controlling individual devices – which facilitates diagnostics and system configuration. Installation is simple and quick – just attach the device to the wall or other bracket using two screws (included in the package).

For users: The AntiStop function prevents the pump rotor from seizing during prolonged downtime – every 14 days, the controller automatically starts the pump for 30 seconds, ensuring its efficiency and extending its lifespan. The intuitive menu and easy operation make the controller user-friendly and do not require specialized knowledge for daily operation.
