Integration of AURATON Smart devices with the SUPLA system

AURATON Box is an internet gateway that enables full integration of all components of the AURATON Smart family with the SUPLA home management system. The device serves as a central communication hub, allowing users to control heating, lighting, and other home systems via the SUPLA mobile application or the cloud.supla.org platform.

Wireless communication and operating range

The gateway utilizes multi-channel radio communication on the frequencies 868.150 MHz, 868.450 MHz, and 869.800 MHz, ensuring a stable connection with up to 50 AURATON Smart devices simultaneously. The built-in WiFi module operating in the 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard guarantees reliable data transmission both locally and via the cloud.supla.org platform.

The operating range is up to 30 meters in buildings with standard wall construction, covering the typical needs of single-family houses and apartments. The device operates in the radio receiver category class 2, ensuring high signal quality and communication reliability.

Control via mobile application and voice assistants

The SUPLA system offers an intuitive interface that allows control of all connected devices using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Users can create heating schedules for various systems - from radiator heating to underfloor installations, as well as controlling boiler operation.

The application also supports integration with popular voice assistants Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for voice control of the entire home automation system.

Operating parameters and safety

The device is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from 0°C to 45°C, enabling installation in various home rooms. The operating state is signaled by LED diodes, providing clear information about the system status.

The IP20 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live parts and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12 mm.

Power supply and expansion capabilities

The gateway is powered via a USB-C port with 5V DC voltage and a power consumption of only 2W, making it an energy-efficient solution. The compact design allows for easy installation practically anywhere in the building.

The system can be expanded gradually - by adding more AURATON Smart devices according to the user's needs. Each new device automatically integrates with the existing network without the need for complicated reconfiguration of the entire system.
