This device solves the problem of manually switching on ventilation in bathrooms, toilets, or utility rooms, where users often forget to turn off the unit after leaving. Thanks to the built-in motion sensor, the fan starts automatically upon detecting activity in the room. Importantly, for comfort and energy savings, it does not switch off immediately when motion ceases – a timer (delay) function is activated, allowing the device to continue operating for a set period ranging from 3 to 30 minutes. This ensures effective air exchange even after the last person has left the room.

The device construction is designed for wall or duct mounting with a duct diameter of 100 mm. The fan achieves an airflow rate of 95 m³/h, which, for standard bathroom volumes, enables rapid air exchange and removal of excess moisture. A key structural element is the automatic damper, which opens only when the fan is operating. After the operating cycle ends (either due to lack of motion detection or expiration of the timer), the damper closes tightly. This simple solution physically blocks the return path for cold air from the ventilation duct or unpleasant odors from adjacent rooms when the device is switched off.

This provides sufficient protection for installation above a sink or in the wet zone of a bathroom (excluding the area directly above the shower/bath). However, note the limitations: the maximum operating temperature is 40°C, and installation is prohibited in rooms with open combustion sources (e.g., gas boilers without a sealed combustion chamber) due to the risk of flue gas backflow.
