Purpose and Application

WKA125 duct fan is used to assist gravity ventilation in rooms located far from main ventilation ducts — e.g., bathrooms, toilets, or dressing rooms. It can operate as either an exhaust or supply fan, depending on the installation method and system requirements. Its application in 125 mm diameter ducts allows for easy integration with existing ventilation systems, particularly in residential buildings.

Construction and Installation

The ABS housing provides resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage, which is crucial in humid environments. The device has an IPX4 protection rating — resistance to water splashes at a rate of up to 10 liters per minute, making it safe for installation in bathrooms or above bathtubs (though not directly under a shower). Installation is possible in both horizontal and vertical positions thanks to ball bearings, which eliminate the risk of performance degradation due to orientation changes. For proper connection, a KO125-21 connector is required, to be installed between the fan and the duct — the fan itself does not include a plug or cable and is activated by an external switch (e.g., a light switch), which is part of the building's electrical installation.
