Hybrid ventilation system that combines gravity and mechanical ventilation in a single duct

The system enables ventilation of a single room using one 125 mm diameter duct, switching between gravity and mechanical ventilation without the need to install two separate ducts. A movable damper inside the unit automatically closes one duct when the other is active — preventing air leaks and mixing of airflow streams.

In gravity mode, a ventilation grille is installed — air exits naturally due to pressure differences. In mechanical mode, an exhaust fan is connected — the damper closes the gravity duct and directs the entire airflow through the fan. Switching between modes occurs without manual intervention — it operates automatically depending on what is connected and active.

The kit includes everything required for installation: a K-G plate for ceiling mounting, a trim ring to finish the opening in the gypsum board, and two 10 cm duct sections. However, it does not include a ventilation grille or an exhaust fan — these components must be selected and purchased separately.

The system is made of ABS plastic — resistant to moisture, chemical agents, and temperature changes. Ideal for installations in bathrooms, kitchens, or other rooms requiring both constant air exchange and rapid removal of odors or steam.

Installation is simple: just mount the K-G plate on the ceiling, connect the duct to the existing ventilation system (e.g., to a vertical duct), and then screw on the trim ring. The damper operates without additional power — its movement is controlled by air pressure.

Compared to the AWENTIS II system (which serves two rooms), AWENTIS I is a solution for a single room — but with full operational flexibility. There is no need to choose between "natural" or "mechanical" ventilation — both can be used simultaneously in one location.
