This device solves ventilation problems in locations where there is no permanent electrical installation or where a wall switch was not provided. Thanks to the factory-installed cable with a plug, the fan can be connected directly to a standard 230 V socket. Control is achieved via a pull cord – one pull starts ventilation, the next turns it off. This solution eliminates the need for complex electrical work during installation, which is particularly useful in older buildings or for temporary installations.

Application and performance for medium-sized rooms

The model with a 120 mm connection diameter generates an airflow of 135 m³/h. This performance enables effective air exchange in rooms with a volume of up to approximately 135 m³ (assuming three air changes per hour). The device is ideal as a bathroom fan, for toilets, laundries, or small offices. However, it should be noted that due to the use of sleeve bearings and the specifics of cord control, installation must be performed exclusively on a vertical wall or directly within the ventilation duct. It is not intended for ceiling mounting or installation above a bathtub/shower (in accordance with safety standards for wet zones).

Construction, noise level, and additional safety features

The housing made of ABS plastic ensures moisture resistance and easy maintenance – simply wipe it with a damp cloth. The device achieves a noise level of 41 dB, which is acceptable for standard bathroom ventilation, although it should not be considered a "quiet-running" device in the strict sense of the term. The motor operates at 230 V and consumes approximately 16-17 W of power, resulting in low energy consumption.

The package also includes an automatic non-return valve. Its purpose is to prevent air from flowing back from the duct into the room after the fan is switched off – this protects against the ingress of odors from the stairwell or neighboring apartments and reduces heat loss in winter. The protection rating IPX4 guarantees safe operation even in the event of water splashes, which is crucial in bathrooms. The maximum operating temperature is 40°C, meeting the needs of standard domestic conditions.
