Connector LCT70H50MC 6620015
Construction and Purpose
Element designed for creating load-bearing structures - used for permanent joining of channel sections with 70×50 mm cross-section into a single cohesive structure. Made of steel with a thickness of 3.0 mm, which ensures adequate stiffness of the connection even under heavier installation loads.
Geometric dimensions are matched to channel sections of the CE70H50 and CT70H50 series - total length is 200 mm, height 60 mm, width of the mounting part 45 mm. Mounting holes in the 13×26 mm arrangement enable precise positioning relative to the channel edge.
Magnelis® Coating - Resistance in Harsh Conditions
The "MC" letters in the designation indicate the type of protective coating - the steel is covered with Magnelis® alloy, a zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy. Compared to standard hot-dip galvanizing (Sendzimir method), Magnelis® offers better corrosion protection, especially in humid or industrial environments.
This coating creates a protective layer on the steel surface that self-repairs minor damage at cut edges and at screw connection points - an important advantage in installations exposed to moisture or chemicals present, for example, in production halls.
Installation and Compatibility
To connect the channel section with this connector, mounting screws should be used - manufacturer BAKS recommends screws type SGFM10×20 or SGKFM10×20. Alternatively, catalog listings also include designations SGKM10×20 and SGM10×20 - all have the same working dimension M10×20.
The connector is designed exclusively for channel sections with a base width matching this profile (70×50 series). For orders exceeding 200 pieces, there is a possibility of manufacturing elements in non-standard lengths or sheet metal thicknesses - this is decided individually with the manufacturer.
The weight of a single element is 0.57 kg, which facilitates handling during installation at heights or in difficult field conditions.
