The BiT 500 (St) 50G0.75 control cable is a flexible, multi-strand copper cable designed for use in power system control, protection devices, and control circuits. It performs reliably in industrial installations, production lines, and for powering low-power loads. Its construction and materials allow use in both dry and humid indoor environments.

This cable is particularly suitable where resistance to environmental conditions and mechanical damage is required. Thanks to its metallized foil shield with grounding braid, it provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The use of flexible Class 5 copper conductors simplifies installation and ensures durable connections.

Construction and Properties

The BiT 500 (St) 50G0.75 cable consists of 50 copper strands, each with a cross-section of 0.75 mm². The strands are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the entire cable is enclosed in an outer PVC sheath. The sheath color is gray, and individual conductors are color-coded and numbered for easy identification. The design includes a common shield in the form of a foil, minimizing the impact of electromagnetic interference on transmitted signals.

Note the wide operating temperature range: -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations and -5°C to +80°C for mobile installations. The cable complies with IEC 60332-1 requirements for fire resistance. The minimum bending radius during installation is 99.5 mm for fixed installations and 199 mm for mobile installations.
