The BiT 500 BLACK FR control cable is a flexible, stranded copper cable designed for use in energy-intensive control and protection devices, as well as control circuits. It is suitable for both fixed installations and flexible connections in industrial equipment and technological lines. This is a product of Zakłady Kablowe BITNER SP. Z O.O., a renowned manufacturer of cables and wires in Poland.

Construction and parameters

This cable is characterized by a construction that ensures durability and ease of installation. Made of flexible class 5 copper strand (according to PN-EN 60228 and IEC 60228), it has insulation made of high-quality PVC, as well as an outer coating made of the same material, resistant to UV radiation. The cores are twisted in parallel or in pairs, which facilitates identification and connection. The version with a protective conductor is marked with the letter "G" in the designation (e.g., 7G1.5).

The specific model has 7 cores with a nominal cross-section of 1 mm². The cable is designed to operate at a voltage of 300/500 V, and its insulation resistance is 20 MΩxkm. The voltage test is 3000 V (50Hz). The cable diameter is approximately 9.6 mm, and its weight is 152 kg/km. The minimum bending radius for flexible connections is 10 x diameter, and for fixed installations – 5 x diameter.
