Construction and properties

The cable is made of copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², which guarantees good conductivity and flexibility. The conductors are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the entire cable is surrounded by an outer coating of the same material. This construction provides resistance to abrasion, mechanical damage and the action of oils – important in industrial environments. The conductors are identified by colors and numbers, which facilitates correct connection and minimizes the risk of errors during installation. In addition, the cable has a protective conductor, increasing safety.

The BiT 500 cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V and 300 V for U0 voltage. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, which makes it a universal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications (including laying in the ground). Fire resistance according to IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 (cat. C) provides additional safety in the event of a fire. The minimum bending radius during installation of moving parts is 137 mm, and in fixed installations – 68.5 mm, which facilitates assembly even in tight spaces. The reaction to fire class is Fca, which means a limited contribution to the spread of fire.
